Louise M. (Brobst) Haas
Louise M. (Brobst) Haas, 82, of West Sixth Street, Pottstown, widow of George S. Haas, died Thursday at her residence. Born in Long Swamp Twp., PA, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Brobst and the late Katie (Reppert) Brobst. She worked as a sewing machine operator for the former Sunset Manafacturing Co., Creative Apparels and various other companies for thirty years retiring in 1990. Mrs. Haas was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pottstown, Schuylkill Chapter #338 Order of Eastern Star, Pottstown Court #113 Order of Amaranth, Pottstown, and the North Coventry Grange. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, and four sisters. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Susan Folks. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in her memory to St. John's Lutheran Church 75 East Main Street, Pottstown, PA 19464 Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
