Kathryn D. (Nace) Benner
Kathryn D. (Nace) Benner, 94, of Lansdale, widow of Howard W. Benner, died peacfully on Sunday at Phoebe Richland, Richlandtown, with her family by her side. Born and raised in Sounderton, she was a daughter of the late Truman S. Nace and Anna S. (Headman) Nace. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lansdale. She was survived by four sons, Howard T. Benner companion of Barbara Campion, Collegeville; Barry L. Benner, Birdsboro; Terry D. husband of Linda D. Benner, Barto; Douglas J. husband of Kathryn J. Benner, Lansdale. One daughter, Jacqueline B. "Jackie" Benner, Lansdale. Fifteen grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, John S. Benner; one great-grandson Mitchell R. Benner, two brothers, Clarence "Bud" Nace and Richard Nace, and one sister Elizabeth Scheid. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1000 West Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446,on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 11:00am. Officiating will be Reverend Eric C. Shafer. Burial will be held in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick,PA. There will be a viewing for relatives and friends on Thursday at the church from 9:30 to 11:00am. Contributions may be may in her memory to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1000 West Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA. |
