  Betty J. (Moyer) Albert

Betty J. (Moyer) Albert, 77,of Manatawny Manor Nursing Center, East Coventry, and widow of Edward G. Albert, who was formerly of Rhoads Road, Gilbertsville, Long Lane Road, Boyertown, And Hershey Drive, East Coventry Twp, died Monday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Hereford, she was a daughter of the late Edwin J. Moyer and the late Mary Schultz (Kriebel) Moyer.

Mrs. Albert was a graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School. She was employed as a private duty cleaning lady and was an Avon sales person. She was a member of Harvest Fellowship Church, Boyertown, where she was active in the food pantry and was a deaconess of the church. Mrs. Albert was active with the Intercessory Prayer Ministry of the church and was a servant of the Lord and his people.

Surviving are two sons, Terry L. Albert and his wife Kathryn, Trout Run, Lycoming Co.; Edward G. Albert II and his wife Gail, Boyertown; three daughters, Andrea Y. wife of Donald R. Swavely, Gilbertsville; Debra S. wife of Dennis Ladjanski, Pottstown; and JoAnne wife of Rick McFarland, E. Coventry Twp.; one brother Karl E. Moyer, Gilbertsville; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother Russell Moyer and one sister Marian Moyer.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Saturday from Harvest Fellowship Church, 584 Colebrookdale Road, Boyertown. Officiating will be Reverend Barry Parsons. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Limerick Garden of Memories. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King Street in Pottstown.
