Stephen J. Piroschak
Stephen J. Piroschak, of Gilbertsville Stephen J. Piroschak, 56, of Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, husband of Susan D. (Darrah) Piroschak, died Wednesday at his residence. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of Marie (Kozak) Piroschak of Pottstown and the late Joseph L. Piroschak. He was a 1970 graduate of St. Pius High School, and attended Ryder Technical Institute. Mr. Piroschak worked as a Automobile Salesperson for H&S Chevrolet, Dames Chevrolet, John Kennedy Ford, was a store manager for Radio Shack, and worked for UPS. He was a member of Pikeville Sportsman Club, Holy Trinity Catholic Club, and Liberty Fire Company. He enjoyed his two cats, cigars, playing cards with friends, and prior to his stroke in 2001, he loved playing golf. In addition to his wife and mother, Steve is survived by his sister, Sandra M., wife of Richard J. Diffendal, Pottstown; one niece, Jill, wife of Richard Glomstad; and one nephew, Jason, husband of Angel Diffendal, and two great-nieces. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Fr. Martin Kern. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. There will be a viewing Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
