  Rae P. (Purcell) Kline

Heaven gained an angel on October 15, 2009 with the passing of Rae P.(Purcell) Kline. Rae was born August 18, 1934 to the late Helen E. (Brown) and Howard M. Purcell.

She was a loving sister to her late brother Capt. Howard Philip Purcell, treasured wife of Richard Kline, devoted mother of Christopher Cooper, Holly Cooper and Kimberlee C. Davis, nurturing grandmother of J. Dillon Chance and Lauren Rae Davis, caring aunt to Sheryl Sliwinsky and Philip Purcell, and cherished friend to countless others.

Rae spent her youth in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, later moving to Landsdowne, Pa with her family. After graduating from Landsdowne High School, Rae worked for Bell Telephone, The Chamber of Commerce in Long Beach Island, NJ. and even tried a stint with American Airlines. She also was a waitress at the Brookside Country Club, in Macungie, Trainers in Quakertown, and was a legal secretary for the law offices of Schoelkopf and Mullaney in Red Hill. She then owned her own business in Quakertown, while working at Pillsbury and raising her family.

She met and married Richard while working at B.F. Goodrich. She and Richard spent much time traveling the world and enjoying their retirement together. Rae loved helping others along side her fellow Church of the Nazarene members. She was as selfless as she was beautiful. Rae was always a ray of sunshine, brightening everyones lives that she came in contact with. She was almost never without a smile, a joke or a loving comment, and was truly an inspiration to those who knew and loved her. She will be missed.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be private. There will be no viewing.

Contributions may be made in her memory to Cluster Outreach Center 137 Walnut Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
