Jacqueline R. (Elliott) Smith
Jacqueline R. (Elliott) Smith, 66, of Pottstown, widow of John Smith, died Thursday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center after being involved in a car accident on South Hanover Street, Pottstown. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of Pershing Elliott, Cabool, Missouri and the late Rachael D. (Frymoyer) Elliott. She worked in the food service department for Parkhouse Providence Pointe, Royersford for sixteen years retiring in 2005. Mrs. Smith was very involved with the Salvation Army in Pottstown. Surviving besides her father is a son Brian M. Smith, Pottstown; two daughters Karen L. wife of James R. Steffy, Jr., Pottstown, Wendy R. Smith fiance of Gregory A. Wilson, Pottstown; three brothers Rodney B. Elliott, Reading, Dennis C. Elliott, Pottstown, Daniel T. Elliott, Cabool, Missouri; and one grandaughter. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday from Trinity E.C. Church 250 Sweinhart Road, Boyertown. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. at the church. Contributions may be made in her memory to Salvation Army 137 King Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
