James David Torrens Jr.
James David Torrens Jr., 42, of Pottstown,was called home to God on Saturday, November 7, 2009. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the beloved son of Judith Torrens Cogdill and step-son of Eugene Cogdill Jr., Pottstown. Mr. Torrens was a graduate of Pottstown High School. He worked as a Production Worker for 15 years at Hammond Lead Products, Stowe. Surviving in addition to his mother and step-father is one brother Sean L. Torrens husband of Brenda, Pottstown; 1 niece, 1 nephew, and 1 uncle. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lloyd and Ann Seiler. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend James Shelly. Burial will be held in Holy Trinity Caltholic Cemetery, Stowe. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Saint Luke's Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 700, Fredrick, PA 19435. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA. |
