John R. Sell
John R. Sell, 83, of Sycamore Drive, Pottstown, husband of Theresa M. (Marchione) Sell, died Saturday at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late John A. Sell and the late Sarah (Heckman) Sell.
Mr. Sell was a self employed barber owning and operating Sell Barber Shop for fifty one years.
He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #244, Pottstown, was an avid fisherman, loved the sea shore, and gardening.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons James R. husband of Laurie E. Sell and their children Cole, Madeline, of Pottstown, John R. husband of Cynthia Sell and their children Justin, Brian, of Pittsburgh; a sister Mary S. Care, Gilbertsville; and a niece Karen wife of Mark Lewendowski, and their children Michael, Brad, Sarah Reinert, of Sanatoga.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King Street, Pottstown. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
