Sally L. (Pawling) Prizer
Sally L. (Pawling) Prizer, 91, of Ludwig Lane, Pottstown, widow of Stanley Prizer, died Tuesday at her residence.
Born in Coatesville, PA, she was a daughter of the late John D. Pawling and the late Bessie E. (Dowling) Pawling.
Mrs. Prizer was a avid gardner, designer and artist whose canvas was her home and gardens. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pottstown.
She was a long-time member of the Spat & Slipper committee, and a member of the Prime-timers at First Presbyterian Church. She also designed the Peace Garden at church.
She is survived by a son S. David Prizer husband of Shelia V., North Coventry Twp.; two daughters S. Lynn Crouthamel companion of Robert E. Jeffries, Jr., Florida, Susan L. wife of Richard Moyer, North Coventry; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Jack Pawling, two sisters Betty Hoke, Frances Lane.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday from First Presbyterian Church 750 N. Evans Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend W. Carter Lester. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Peace Garden at First Presbyterian Church 750 N. Evans Street, Pottstown, PA 19464 or the American Cancer Sociey, C/O Joan Gehris, National Penn Bank, 1830 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
