Dorothy M. (Torak) Antush
Dorothy M. (Torak) Antush, 81, of Stowe, widow of Joseph Antush, died Wednesday at Manatawny Manor Nursing Home, East Coventry Twp.
Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Torak and the late Susan (Antolik) Torak.
She was an office clerk for Wagner Electric, Boyertown for fifteen years retiring in 1993.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Stowe where she was a member of the Lutheran Church Women, Altar Committee, involved with the church bazaar, and was the church secretary for ten years. She also organize monthly bus trips to the casinos.
She is survived by two sons Joseph C. Antush, Gilbertsville, Timothy D. Antush, Pottstown; a daughter Debbie wife of John Strickler, Stowe; a brother George Torak; three sisters Agnes wife of Jack Smiley, Trappe, Mildred wife of Anthony Giangiacomo, Pottstown, Joan wife of Joseph Hilbert, Pottstown; four grandchildren Tammy Antush, Cape May, NJ, Steven Antush, New Hanover, Kelli Martin, Macungie, Jan Bessemer, Exeter; and two great grandchildren Haven Bessemer, Lydia Martin. She was predeceased by a brother Stephen Torak, and a son Stephen Antush.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend John Smolik. Burial will be private in Highland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
