G. Lucille Greiner
G. Lucille Greiner, 105, widow of Raymond G. Greiner formerly of Boyertown, died Thursday February 18, 2010 at Manor Care Health Services, Pottstown. Born in Birdsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Hartz and the late Ella (Spencer) Hartz. Mrs. Greiner graduated from Birdsboro High School where she was Salutatorian of her class. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Pottstown. Mrs. Greiner enjoyed music, played the organ at church in Birdsboro, and piano for the childrens' Sunday school class at Grace Lutheran Church, Pottstown. She is survived by one daughter Barbara G. Hamm of Boyertown; four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Friday February 26, 2010 from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Paul Xander. Burial will be held in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. There will be a viewing Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in her memory to Grace Lutheran Church, 660 N. Charlotte Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
