John E. Nichols
John E. Nichols, 65, of Pottstown, PA, died Tuesday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Elmer Nichols and the late Elizabeth (Strauss) Nichols. Mr. Nichols retired from Owen J. Roberts School District where he was employed as a maintenance person. He was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam War. John was a member of the K.C. Club of Stowe. Mr. Nichols is survived by two sisters, Thelma Nichols, Pottstown; Betty wife of David Bishop, N. Coventry; Friends Cissy & Robert Kohler and Warren. A host of Nieces, Nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother Robert Nichols. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Monday March 15, 2010 from Edgewood Cemetery, High & Keim Streets, Pottstown at 11:00 am followed by Military Honors. Officiating will be Reverend Georgiana Harris. There will be no viewing. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
