Louis S. Schott
Louis S. Schott, 87, of Sanatoga Rd., Pottstown, died Thursday at Hearthstone at Amity, Douglassville.
Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late J. Raymond Schott and the late Helen Mae (Shellenberger) Schott.
Mr. Schott worked in maintenance for Dana Corporation for forty years retiring in 1960.
He was a member of Parkerford Church of the Brethren, the Pottstown Orioles, and the Men of Malvern.
He is survived by friends Rudulph & Janice Henley, Pottstown; two brothers William G. Schott, Pottstown, Raymond J. Schott, Philadelphia; a sister Marion R. Fry; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday from Parkerford Church of the Brethren 20 Rinehart Road, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Josh Bytwerk & Reverend Robert Latshaw. Entombment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. There will be a viewing Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
Contributions may be made in his memory to Hearthstone at Amity 139 Old Swede Road, Douglassville, PA 19518.
Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
