William "Fuzzy" J. Houser
William "Fuzzy" J. Houser, 69, of Pottstown, PA, husband of Dorothy (Gehman) Houser, died Tuesday at his residence.
Born in Butler Twp., Schuylkill Co., he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Cresina) Houser.
Mr. Houser was a graduate of Frackville High School. He was employed by Mrs. Smith Pie Co., loading freezer trucks and as a cook for 32 years until their closing. Mr. Houser was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Barto.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one son, William R. Houser and his wife Alicia M. of Temple; one brother Elroy Houser, Pennsburg; one sister Anna Mae wife of John Bernhard, Frackville. He was preceded in death by his twin infant brother Robert; and one sister Dolores Houser.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Monday from Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto. Officiating will be Reverend Richard Mathisen. Burial will be in Christ Union Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown, and from 10:30 until 11:00 am on Monday at the church.
