Josephine V. (Neiman) Swartz
Josephine V. (Neiman) Swartz, 85, formerly of Belmont Street, Pottstown, widow of Louis H. Swartz, died Thursday at Manor Care Health Center, Pottstown. Born in Douglassville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Pearl (Uhlrich) Neiman. Mrs. Swartz was employed as an inspector with the former Stanley G. Flagg Co. She was a member of Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, Pottstown. Mrs. Swartz loved to bake and cook. She was a wonderful mother to her children and a good listener. She would send greeting cards to family and friends just to say thinking of you. She is survived by one daughter Bonnie L. wife of Robert Keim, Pottstown; one son Barry L. Swartz and his wife Suzanne, Pottstown; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Monday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Cremaotry, 359 King St. Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend John Smolik. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, C/O Joan Gehris, National Penn Bank, 1830 East High St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
