Joseph Andrew Brockway
Joseph Andrew Brockway, 53, of Collegeville, PA, widower of Judy K. (Fulmer) Brockway, died Friday at his residence. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he was a son of Joseph Edward Brockway, Quakertown and the late Anna Blanche (Valonis) Brockway. Mr. Brockway was a graduate of Norristown High School, Class of 1975. He was employed as a Transit Driver with First Transit of Conshohocken. A member of Grace Lutheran Church, Norristown he was active with the Adult Forum and was an Usher. He was always willing to help where ever needed. Joseph did alot of volunteering especially with the Boy & Girls Scouts. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer L. wife of Thomas Tinney, Pottstown; Samantha K. Brockway, Collegeville; two sons, Edward J. Brockway, and Andrew S. Brockway both of Collegeville. One brother Robert Brockway and his wife Olivia, Norristown; four sisters, Paula wife of George Vickers, Bridgeport; Angela wife of Norman Card, New York; Michelle Brockway, Arizona; Kelly Pettine, Norristown. One grandson Collin Tinney, Pottstown. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday May 22, 2010 from Grace Lutheran Church, Haws & Airy Streets, Norristown. Officiating will be Reverend Janice Vogt. Burial will be private. A time of visitation will be held from 10:30 until 11:00 am on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted in trust for minor children, Andrew & Samantha Brockway, in care of Jennifer Tinney 2454 Welsh Dr., Pottstown, PA 19464.
