Wanda L. (Lorenc) Skarbek
Wanda L. (Lorenc) Skarbek, 96, of Pottstown, widow of Edward J. Skarbek, died Thursday at Sanatoga Center, Lower Pottsgrove Twp. Born in Nicetown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Lorenc and the late Louise (Guntik) Lorenc. She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church. Wanda was a member of the Womans Guild and the Rosarie Society of the former Saint Peter's Catholic Church, Pottstown. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter Louise J. Skarbek, and one brother Walter Lorenc. Funeral mass will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday May 25, 2010 from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, Linfield Campus, 1228 Main St., Linfield, PA 19468. Officiating will be Father Paul Brandt. Burial will be in Saint Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Twp. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Building Fund of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church.
