Euphemia (Campbell) Romanik
Euphemia (Campbell) Romanik, 80, of East High St., Pottstown; formerly of Lower Salford Township for over fifty years widow of William Romanik, died Thursday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Green Lane, PA, she was a daughter of the late John T. Campbell and the late Edna Campbell.
She worked as a cafeteria aid in the Souderton School District for many years until her retirement.
Mrs. Romanik was active in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Pottstown where she had been a member since her marriage there in 1947. She sang in the church choir as well as worked in the Ladies Altar Society.
Euphemia was an avid gardener her entire life, she loved the beauty and colors of her flowers.
She is survived by a daughter Dianne wife of Peter Clemens, Cedars, PA; five sisters Jean of Bridgeport, PA, Ethel, Joan, Patsy, of Ohio and Vera of Boyertown; two grandsons Chris Clemens, Hatfield, Joshua Clemens, Collegeville; and one great grandson Benjamin.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. on Thursday from Holy Trinity Orthodox Church Mervine & Juniper Streets, Pottstown. Officiating will be Father Jason Franchak. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Orthodox Cemetery. There will be a viewing Thursday from 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. at the church.
Contributions may be made in her memory to Holy Trinity Orthodox Church 1230 N. Hanover Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
