Frederick F. Renninger
Frederick F. Renninger, 79, of Gilbertsville, PA, husband of Pauline E. (Dierolf) Renninger, died Tuesday at Manor Care Health Center, Pottstown. Born in Frederick, PA, he was a son of the late Frederick B. and Stella (Fryer) Renninger. Mr. Renninger was employed as a groundsman with the Boyertown School District working at the Boyertown High School for 14 years retiring in 1992. He was also a molder with Unicast of Boyertown for 14 years. He was a member of Saint Lukes Lutheran Church, Gilbertsville. Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter, Sharon L. wife of David Hallman, Pottstown; one son Gordon J. Renninger and his wife Michele, Pottstown; two step sons, Scott Christman, Boyertown and David Christman, Boyertown; two brothers, Lester Renninger, Frederick; Kenneth Renninger, Pottstown; five sisters, Alice Layman, Bechtelsville; Beulah Houck, Boyertown; Hilda Knauer, Gilbertsville; Stella Eidle, Gilbertsville; Leona Renninger, Frederick; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Linford Renninger. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am on Friday from Saint Lukes Lutheran Church, 35 Wilson Ave, Gilbertsville. Officiating will be Reverend Christopher Weidner. Burial will be in Christ Union Cemetery, Niantic. There will be a viewing from 9:30 until 10:30 am on Friday at the church. Contributions may be made in his memory to Saint Lukes Lutheran Church, 35 Wilson Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
