John Castrinoes
John Castrinoes, 88, of Hillside Drive, Pottstown, husband of Barbara (Eck) Helwig Castrinoes, died Friday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Conshohocken, PA, he was a son of the late William Castrinoes and the late Katherine (Luft) Castrinoes. He was a Baker at Morabito Bakery for many years until his retirement. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Surviving besides his wife is a daughter Andrea Lynn Caudill, FL; a step daughter Debra Lichtley, Pottstown; a step son Robert Helwig, Douglassville; two grandsons David Collins husband of Crystal, Pottstown and Christopher Castrinoes husband of Jessica, Harleysville; five granddaughters Steffie Helwig, Douglassville; Amber and Katlynn Lichtley, Pottstown; Stacy Jeffries, Harleysville; and Carrie McNemar, FL. Two great-grandchildren Ryan and Julia Castrinoes. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
