Marie H. (Tornetta) Kerns
Marie H. (Tornetta) Kerns, 69, of Pottstown, wife of David Kerns, died Saturday at Manor Care Health Center, Pottstown. Born in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of the late James and Concetta "Dolly" (Paoiline) Tornetta. Marie was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School class of 1959. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her garden in summer and doing crafts in the winter. Surviving in addition to her husband is one son John Ottaviano, Florida; one daughter Denise M. wife of Gerald Coshin Jr., Lansdale; two brothers, Joseph Tornetta and his wife Annie, Florida; James Tornetta and his wife Debra, East Norriton; one sister Judy A. Wells, Schwenksville; one grandson Jerry Coshin III; five step children and five step grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:30 am on Wednesday July 14, 2010 from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St. Pottstown. Burial will be in Pottstown Cemetery - West. There will be a viewing from 10:00 until 11:30 am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
