Caroline R. (Fizz) Fleisch
Caroline R. (Fizz) Fleisch, 88, of Gilbertsville, widow of Jacob J. Fleisch Jr., died Sunday at Sanatoga Center, Lower Pottsgrove Twp. Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late George E. and Clyda M. (Levengood) Fizz. Caroline was a graduate of Pottstown Senior High School, class of 1939. After graduation she went to work at the former Shuwall Dress Factory in the shipping department for 6 years and then became a wife and homemaker. She was a member of the New Apostolic Church, Limerick. Surviving are one son Jay Fleisch, Phoenixville; one daughter Georgeann Titanic, Gilbertsville; four grandchildren Christopher Titanic; Diane Titanic-Weller; Brian Titanic husband of Rebecca; and Krystle; six great grandchildren, Russell, Preston, Emily, Nathan, Mason and Alana. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Friday July 16, 2010 from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 until 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 125 S. Ninth Street, Suite 202, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
