C. Elizabeth (Walley) Washington,94, widow of Edgar C. Washington of Phoenixville passed away on Thursday at Phoenixville Care & Rehabilitation Center.

Born on November 27, 1922 in Chester Springs, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Rose (Peck) Walley.

She was a 1941 graduate of Phoenixville High School.

Elizabeth was a machine operator for Synthane Taylor Corp. for thirty four years until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Phoenixville.

She is survived by two nieces, Marsha E. Walley, Phoenixville, Barbara "Barbie" L. wife of Robert Riker, Pottstown; three great nieces, Heather (Riker) Margolis, Camp Hill, Kendra L. (Siwik) Robinson, Exeter, Kellie L. (Siwik) Barlow, Pottstown; two great nephews, Joel A. Siwik, Prospect Park, PA, Jeff A. Siwik, Summerville, SC; and two great great nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Levi M. Walley, and a half brother, Raymond Peck.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. on Monday at St. John's United Church of Christ (Chapel), 315 Gay St., Phoenixville. Officiating will be the Reverend Raymond Jachowksi. Burial will be private in Morris Cemetery. There will be no viewing.

Contributions may be made in her memory to St. John's United Church of Christ at the above address.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.

Services will start at St. John's United Church of Christ.
