Carole E. (Weaver) Rhoades, 76, of Douglassville, PA, widow of Thomas F. Rhoades, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at her residence.

Born in Stowe, PA, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Mary (Maute) Weaver.

Carole was a graduate of Pottsgrove High School.

She was employed by Kiwi of Douglassville where she ran the mail room.

She was a life-long member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Pottstown, where she was a church cantor, lead soprano in the choir and was supportive of the LCW and other church activities. Carole was a member of Schuylkill Chapter #338 Order of Eastern Star and Doe Club of Pottstown. She was an avid golfer and was active at Twin Ponds Golf Club. She loved going to the beach, traveling, sharing meals with friends and family, and making ceramics. Carole attended Curves until recently. Carole's joy was her love of her family, friends, and church.

Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Sandra Levengood, Pottstown; David Schmoyer, New Hampshire; Kim & Kathy Toth, Douglassville; her in-laws, Nancy Weaver and Peggy Toth, Douglassville; Robert Rhoades and William Schmoyer, Pottstown; and many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 564 Glasgow St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend John Smolik. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pottstown. There will be a viewing from 1:30 until 2:30 pm on Thursday at the church.
