Byron E. Crosby, Sr., 90, of Boyertown, husband of Rana G. (Peele) Crosby, passed away peacefully on Thursday at Brandywine Hall, West Chester.

Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Lloyd E. Crosby and the late Mary Alice (Hoch) Crosby.

Byron was a minister of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for many years.

He loved spending time with his family, and loved board games.

Surviving besides his wife of twenty years are three sons, Byron E. Crosby, Jr. and his wife Gui Ying, Wormleysburg, PA, Jonathan S. Crosby and his wife Jaci, Royersford, Daniel L. Crosby, Brooklyn, NY; three daughters, Sharon D. wife of Richard C. Fagley, Chesapeake City, MD, Deborah L. wife of Ronald Stott, Fleetwood, Susan J. wife of James Huxoll, Elverson; a brother, Alan H. Crosby, Williamsport, PA; three sisters in law, Jean Schaeffer, Pottstown, Carmenette Jarvis, Richmond, VA, Sylvia (Pike) Marion, Boyertown; one brother in law Reverend Robert Pike, Cornwall, PA; fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elsie G. (Pike) Crosby, a brother, Farel H. Crosby, two sisters, Janice Lachman, Muriel Grazier, and one grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday February 17, 2021 at New Life Bible Fellowship, 2960 W. Philadelphia Ave., Oley. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church.

The family asks that everyone follows CDC recommendations by wearing masks and social distancing.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the food bank of Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities , 57 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
