Reimunda M. (Weiss) Kulp, 84, of Pottstown, passed away on Sunday August 29, 2021 at Norriton Square Nursing Home, Norristown. Reimunda was married for 20 years to Robert J. Kulp, the father of her children.

Born in Sewerynow, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Adam Weiss and the late Olga (Fuchs) Weiss. Sewerynow is 7 miles from Skierniewice, largest town in the area, Skierniewice had a train station. The family left Poland when Reimunda was 7 years old, to escape the advancing Red Army. She spoke fluent German and was proud of her German Heritage

Reimunda was an inspector for Pillsbury for eight years, Doehlar Jarvis for eight years, and the former Stanley G. Flaggs for five years, retiring in 1990.

She was a member of Pottstown Area Senior Center.

Reimunda was a refugee of World War II.

She is survived by two sons, Robert R. Kulp, Perkiomenville, Richard R. Kulp, Perkiomenville; a daughter, Monica S. Kulp, Pottstown; and a sister, Else Breitzkreutz, New Berlinville. He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph P. Weiss, Eugen Weiss; a sister, Wanja Weiss, a step sister, Ingrid Moses, and a significant other Irvin "Gene" Stierly.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday September 7, 2021 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Burial will be in Hill Church Cemetery. There will be a visitation Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
