Died: Dec. 30, 2021
Charlotte A Stultz, 71, of Pottstown, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 30th. She was the loving wife of Dennis P. Stultz of Pottstown, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage, dedication and friendship.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Eva (Eddinger) Sell.

Charlotte’s childhood was spent in Bally, PA along with her two older brothers and younger sister. Charlotte loved school and spent her entire life learning new things and sharing her knowledge with her family and friends. Her family likens Charlotte to being Google, before there was a Google; she was always the first call for everyone. Charlotte graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1968 and attended The Lehigh Valley School of Dental Assisting. Charlotte and Denny met in 1967 at a Boyertown Swim Club Friday night dance and made a connection that would last forever! Their first son, Christopher, was born in 1969 followed by a second son, Thomas, in 1972.

Charlotte had a zest for life and appreciated the value of sports, exercise, and healthful living. Her favorite activities included skiing, racquetball, tennis, volleyball and pickleball. In fact, Charlotte could always be counted on to start-up a game of any sport. In women's racquetball, Charlotte rose to the rank of 7th in the nation in women’s 30 and over bracket. Her abilities also allowed her to be competitive in the women’s open bracket and ultimately having a match against the Nations #1 ranked player.

In recent years, Charlotte became an avid bird-watcher and held a special affection for bluebirds. The home she shared with Dennis was always filled with love, laughter, and plenty of games. Charlotte was a dedicated grandmother to her three grandchildren, Matthew, Taylor, and Madelyne. Never did a visit go by without her making their favorite meal of Grammy’s crunchy mac n’ cheese and at least a few matches of green machine races, ping pong, and treasure hunts. There was never a dull moment at Grammy’s and Pop’s.

In addition to her hobbies, Charlotte had a boisterous and infectious laugh and was known for being loyal, kind, generous of spirit, and empathetic of others’ feelings. For over 20 years, Charlotte worked alongside Dr. Michael Bonomo as a dental assistant. Both Charlotte and Dr. Mike had a very special friendship that lasted even after her retirement. Charlotte prided herself on making patients feel comfortable and genuinely listened to their fears. She was known for being exceptionally good with children and always had stories to tell about the wonderful people she met while working at the Red Hill Dental.

The loss of Charlotte to this world has had an immediate impact, but her spirit and love is something that each of us will carry. All any of us can hope for is that we leave the world a better place than which we found it; Charlotte certainly did that and more.

Charlotte is survived by her husband: Dennis Stultz; her sons: Christopher Stultz and former spouse, Susan; Thomas Stultz and wife, Vanessa; her mother-in-law: Renee Stultz; her brother: Greg Sell and wife, Shirley; her sister: Mary Ann Sell; her brothers-in-law: Gary Stultz and wife, Susan; Bob Stultz and wife, Peggy; her sister-in-law: Cindy and husband, Gary; her grandchildren: Matthew, Taylor, and Madelyne; and her many nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Eva Sell; her father-in-law: Louis Stultz; and her brother Lester “Jerry” Sell.

A celebration of Charlotte’s beautiful life will be held, at a later date, at the discretion of her family.
