Raoul J. Garcia, 83, of Norristown, PA, husband of the late Helen C. (Plummer) Garcia, died Tuesday July 12, 2022 at his home.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Paul Garcia and the late Mary (Sanchez) Garcia. Mr. Garcia was employed as a water tender with the former Container Corporation of America. He was a member of St. Teresa of Avila, Audubon, where he was active with the church and sang in the choir. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #7565. He was a former Philadelphia auxiliary Police Officer. Mr. Garcia loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Angelique wife of Timothy J. Collins Jr., Boyertown; Camilla Goodwin, Melbourne, FL; two sons, Robert A Specht, and his companion Kim Makins, Downsville, NY; John P. Garcia, Norristown; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. His close friend Diane McNulty, Norristown. He was predeceased by one brother, Anthony Garcia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass to be held 10:00 am on Monday July 18, 2022 at St. Teresa of Avila, 1260 S. Trooper Road, Audubon. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick. There will be a viewing on Monday at the church from 8:45 until 9:45.
