Frank P. Bregovi, 89, of Pottstown, PA, husband of Mildred (Barton) Bregovi, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday November 14, 2022 at home.

Born in Stowe, PA, 1933 he was the son of the late Woodrow Romig and the late Mary (Wassiluck) Romig. Frank married his High School sweetheart and was happily married sixty-six (66) years.

He was a graduate of West Pottsgrove High School and Penn State University. Mr. Bregovi also served his Country proudly as a member of the United States Army. He had a passion for sports and was a referee/umpire for over ten (10) years in the Community, was an avid golfer and league member of the Golden Duffers at Hickory Valley Golf Club and Oaks at Gilbertsville Golf Course. In his spare time, he would also make and repair golf clubs. In addition, he also enjoyed camping and was a member of the Road Runners Camping Club of Boyertown. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his loving family. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and dear friend to everyone who met him. Frank was an
Engineer at the former Stanley G. Flagg Co., Stowe for fifty (50) years and Ranger/Starter at Gilbertsville Golf Course. Frank was a faithful member of St. Columbkill Catholic Church, Boyertown, and the Knights of Columbus, Boyertown.

Surviving him are his wife, two sons, Christopher Scott Bregovi and wife Paula, Irmo, South Carolina, Patrick John Bregovi, Pottstown; a daughter, Tina Marie Bregovi and her boyfriend Darren Printz, Royersford; Michael Baetzel, Royersford, five grandchildren, Kristy Meitzler, Zachary Bregovi, Sierra M. Baetzel, Elias M. Baetzel, Grayson M. Baetzel; and two great grandchildren, Caroline and Madison. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kim Ann Bregovi Curtis, and a granddaughter, Tara Meitzler.

There will be a viewing Saturday November 19, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and service following at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Father Richard Clement.
Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the social hall of St. Columbkill Catholic Church, Boyertown directly after the burial at the cemetery.
