Leslie Lynn (Hrebin) Lenarcik, 62, of Phoenixville, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Paoli Hospital.

Leslie was as tough as nails, though she would never admit it. Through her compassion and empathy, Leslie could look beyond the surface and connect with the people she met. She could always find something hilarious to say to get a laugh and brighten your day. Leslie had a passion for flower and vegetable gardening. Her specialty was growing awesome tasting tomatoes. BLTs will never taste the same with her passing. She also loved reading and learning about new things while her artistic side came through making fused and stained-glass pieces. Leslie never met a recipe she couldn’t improve with some creativity (and risk). She had a knack for bonding with animals, especially her beloved wolf, Lupi, and the horse she loved riding and competing with, Paco.

Leslie raised two wonderful daughters, Lindsey Lenarcik and Alexandra Lenarcik, with the help of her family and friends who she will eternally be grateful for being part of their lives. She passed on her many loves and interests to them. Her legacy will live on through them.

Leslie graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Her tenacity and love of solving puzzles carried her through a career testing hardware and software systems. She was especially proud of her work on the Department of the Navy’s first handheld, airborne, and shipborne GPS receivers. She also worked on testing satellite communications systems, biotechnology devices and digital signage systems.

Born in Allentown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Eugene J. Hrebin and the late Julia L. (Serdziuk) Hrebin. Surviving besides her husband, Robert Lenarcik, and daughters, are two sisters, Diane wife of Fred Taylor, Coplay, Kathy Granito, Harrisburg. She was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Hrebin.
