Myron Vartabedian, 93, of Exeter Township, husband of Lupe (Ramirez) Vartabedian, passed away on Friday March 17, 2023 at his residence.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Jack Vartabedian and the late Alice (Sahagian) Vartabedian.
Myron was a draftsman for many companies the last one being Bechtel Power Plant. He was also a local business owner, owning Friedman's Glass Company for seventeen years, Annie's Fancy Cakes, and the Seven Eleven in Stowe.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was a former member of Stichter Lodge #254, Pottstown.
Surviving besides his wife are his children, Jack Vartabedian and his wife Susan, Pawcatuck, CT, Elizabeth wife of Richard Peters, Exeter Twp., John Vartabedian and his wife Ericka, Exeter Twp.; a brother, Joseph Vartabedian and his wife Evelyn, Bowie, MD; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Small, Mary Vartabedian.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday March 25, 2023 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Wendy Orzolek. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
