Carole M. (Miller) Agresta

Carole M. (Miller) Agresta, 81, of Pottstown, widow of Ralph L. Agresta, passed away on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at her residence.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harold Miller and the late Helen (Ellis) Miller.

Carole worked in customer service for Security National Bank, Pottstown and later New Century Bank, Phoenixville for many years, retiring in 2011. She was a volunteer at the Colonial Theatre, Phoenixville, Heneritta Hankin Library, she crocheted blankets for St. Aloysius Catholic Church, and loved knitting for Project Linus.

She is survived by two sons, Craig D. Rittase, Pottstown, William Bradley Rittase, Bethesda, MD; a brother, William Miller, Collegeville, three stepsons, Ralph N. Agresta husband of Gail, Pottstown, Michael Agresta husband of Darcell, Boyertown, William Agresta husband of Cindy, Pottstown; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth wife of Chris Swam, MD, Christine Agresta, Philadelphia; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday September 2, 2023 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Barry L. Moyer. Burial will be private in Pottstown Cemetery - West. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
