David Ross Dassler

David Ross Dassler, 81, of Pottstown, PA, husband of Raquel Iliana (Maya) Dassler, passed away peacefully Thursday August 24, 2023 at his home.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Walter Dassler and the late Alice (Moore) Dassler.

David was a high school graduate and earned his Associates degree at Temple University. He was employed by Rodon Group in Hatfield, PA as a quality inspection engineer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. David loved boating, crabbing and fishing, along with going shooting at the Elverson Gun Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife is one son, Philip R. Dassler and his wife Maryanne, Perkiomenville; two stepsons, Jesus M. Gonzalez, Pottstown and Alien Artigas, Pottstown. One stepdaughter, Raquel V. Luis, NC; one brother, Walter D. Dassler and his wife Catherine, Slatington. Four grandchildren, Zachary, Parker, Vinny and Vera. He was predeceased by one brother, Richard Dassler.

Friends and family are welcome to join the celebration of Dave’s life which will be held on September 9th from 10am-5pm at 2748 Pruss Hill Road Pottstown, PA 19464.
