Ursula (Harmansky) Frain, 77, of North Coventry
Ursula (Harmansky) Frain, wife of the late Harry R Frain, daughter of the late Joseph Harmansky Sr and Emma Harmansky, sister to her late brother Joseph Harmansky Jr. Ursula passed away at home after a short battle with cancer on Saturday August 26, 2023. Ursula is survived by her daughters Alicia Fanella (husband Stephen) and Amanda Frain.
Ursula was born in Salz, Austria and became a United States citizen at the age of four. She graduated from Pottstown High School and studied at both Ursinus College and Montgomery County Community College. She was well known in the Pottstown area as one of the owner/operators of Sheridan’s News located on South Hanover Street. People went out of their way to come into Sheridan’s to enjoy her cooking or to try and hit it big by purchasing lottery tickets from her.
She loved cooking and took culinary classes to expand her skills. She also enjoyed listening to music, knew a lot about history and followed politics. She really loved to watch the wildlife that were all around her home. She had many pets that she took care of both inside and outside of her house.
Ursula was a generous person who was always there for others when they were in need of a little help. She was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be private.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
All services for Ursula M. (Harmansky) Frain will be kept private at the request of the family.
