W. Richard "Dick" Dillon

W. Richard "Dick" Dillon, 81, of Pottstown, widow of Carolyn M. (Mutter) Dillon, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest.

Born in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Helen (Coleman) Dillon.

Dick was a 1981 graduate of Drexel University earning a degree in electrical engineering.

He was a code enforcement officer for Perkiomen Township until his retirement.

He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Dick was a member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, Pottstown, Boyertown Masonic Lodge #741, Stitcher Lodge #254, Pottstown where he was past Master as well as past District Deputy Grand Master of the 40th. Masonic District, member of High Twelve Club, Royal Arch Chapter #198, Creigh Council #16, Nativity Commandery #71, and Vox Luminis Council #556.

He is survived by a daughter, Susan K. Carter and a granddaughter, Sophia, Pottstown; a sister, Betsy Bellantoni, Boyertown. Loving cousins in Brick Township, NJ and Mt. Sterling, KY

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Friday September 22, 2023 at Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, 60 N. Hanover St., Pottstown with Masonic Services at 10:50 am. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 9:30 until 10:50 am. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the church. Burial will be private in Pottstown Cemetery - West. The service will be live streamed on Trinity's You Tube Page: Trinity Reformed UCC-Pottstown, PA.
