Jayne L. Hatfield

Jayne Louise (Umstead) Hatfield passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 3, 2023. She was 71 years old when she succumbed to her long and arduous battle with cancer. Jayne is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Eugene, as well as their adult children Jeffrey (Carina), Kelly Landherr (Todd), and Ryan (Erin). She was affectionally known as “Mom-Mom” to her 8 grandchildren and she loved spoiling them and spending time with them at her house cooking Sunday family dinners, spending time with them on the beach, and cheering them on at their sporting events.

She had a successful career as an accountant and bookkeeper where she co-owned the family business Mid-Town Tire and Automotive with her husband for decades, that continues to serve as a pillar for the Pottstown community today. She had an infectious laugh and could tell a great story. She loved going to see her Fightin’ Phillies, escaping to her beach house on the weekends, attending concerts, hosting holidays, and planning family trips. But most of all, she loved her family and made sure she was ever-present no matter the distance. And if you know her, that will never change. Her family will feel always feel her love because she imprinted her strength and resilience on each of her kids and grandkids.

A date & time for the celebration of Jayne’s life will be shared at a later time for friends and family.
