Betty Arline (Saylor) Stigura

Betty Arline (Saylor) Stigura, 95, of Boyertown, PA, widow of Michael Stigura Jr., died Monday September 4, 2023 at Berkshire Center, Exeter, PA.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter H. Saylor and the late Geraldine V. (Evans) Saylor. Betty was employed as an operator with Bell Telephone for 45 years retiring in 1990. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Pottstown where she was past president and a member of the Guild Society. She was a Telephone Pioneer. Betty loved to sit on the deck & do word seek puzzles. She enjoyed watching old movies and Two and A Half Men on TV.
She would love to go out to eat and mostly loved having dessert.

She is survived by one daughter, Fay S. wife of Bernard Lupacchini, with whom she resided in Boyertown; two sons, Darryl Stigura and his wife Diana, Gilbertsville; Matthew D. Stigura and his wife Lisa, Douglassville. Grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer, Adrienne, Zachary, and Alexis; great grandchildren, Kai, Chase, Natalie, William and Maxi. Her grand dog Hunter. She was predeceased by her sisters, Infant Faye Larue Saylor and Judith Mae Greth.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St. Pottstown. Burial will be private in Saint John Byzantine Catholic Cemetry. There will be a viewing from 9:30 until 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.
