Dianne K. (Keller) Girard

Dianne Kay (Keller) Girard, 79, of Frederick; formerly of Elverson, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Frederick Living.

Born December 15, 1943 in Dundalk, MD, she was a daughter of the late William Norman Keller and the late Marion Miranda (Strohecker) Keller.

Graduate of William Tennent High School, class of 1961.

Dianne worked as an office supply sales representative for Wrigley's Office Supply, Boyertown and also for C&S Supply, West Reading.

Loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to many. Dianne was a member of the Red Hat Society, she was picked as one of the six exceptional businesswomen by the Pottstown YWCA in 2001 and was a cancer survivor who participated in the annual relay for life in Pottstown. Dianne also enjoyed the beach, gardening, taking her dog Butch for walks and feeding the horses at her home in Elverson. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Robert Girard and his wife Susanne, of Pottstown; a daughter, Pamela wife of Mark Rittwage, of Boyertown; a brother, William Keller, of Southampton, PA; a sister, Deborah Daly, of Pine Grove, PA; and five grandchildren: Lauren, Robert, Cole, Justin and Cameron.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M on Friday September 29, 2023 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Beverly Wenrich. Burial will be private at Union Cemetery, Richboro. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
