Barbara J. (Geiger) Scott

Barbara J. (Geiger) Scott, 71, of Gilbertsville, PA, wife of C. James G. Scott, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at her home.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Geiger and the late Elizabeth (Jowar) Geiger. Barbara was employed by the former Techalloy Co., Rahns, PA and Ken Crest of Pottstown as a receptionist. She was a member of the American Federation of State & County and Municiple Employee's and was a trustee of the Retiree's Local 8806; and a member of Pike Township Sportsman's Club. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Aaron G. Scott, Boyertown; Kevin J. Scott and his wife Stephanie, Pottstown; grandchildren, Christian, Isabella and Dylan. One cousin Danise Miller, Gilbertsville.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 pm on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Joseph Dietz. There will be a viewing from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at New Hanover Fire Department, 2154 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
