Dorothy E. (Born) Yost

Dorothy E. (Born) Yost, 102, of Pottstown, widow of Maurice Yost, passed away on Friday November 10, 2023 at Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Born and the late Emma (Ludwig) Born.

Dorothy was a member of Zion's United Church of Christ, Pottstown.

She is survived by a son, Douglas Yost and his wife Karen, Lincoln, DE; a brother, Douglas Born, Pottstown; two grandchildren, Stacey and Timothy; one great grandchild, Devon, and one great great grandchild, Annalisse.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Thursday November 16, 2023 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Austin Chinault. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. There will be a viewing Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.

The services will start at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory.


Following the service there will be a funeral procession to the cemetery.
