Carol A. Leinbach

Carol A. Leinbach, 75, of Pottstown, passed away on Tuesday February 20, 2024 at Reading Hospital.

Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Richard G. Leinbach and the late Alice T. (Wenzel) Leinbach.

Carol worked in the business office and marketing for Bell of PA and AT&T for thirty-two years.

Her volunteer activities include Cub Pack 27 in Kenilworth, Den Leader and Den Leader Coach Trainer for French Creek District Chester County Council BSA. She was a Kindergarten Religious Education Instructor at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, volunteer and instructor at Birthright of Pottstown, and volunteer at Visiting Nurse Association, Pottstown.

Carol was a wonderful Aunt to her nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews and spending time with them brought her immense joy.

She is survived by two brothers, C. Randal Leinbach, Pottstown, Richard A. Leinbach and his wife Carol Althouse, Reading; two sisters, Janet M. Sanders, Mt. Holly Springs, PA, Mary Beth wife of Dwight Buckwalter, Pottstown; twelve nieces & nephews and twelve great nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Sahns wife of Richard Sahns.

A memorial mass will be held 11:00 A.M. on Friday March 15, 2024 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2101 Pottstown Pike, Pottstown. Officiating will be Father Thomas Kletzel. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church.
