She was born February 12, 1925, and was a lifelong resident of Sanatoga and Lower Pottsgrove Township. She spent the first 10 years of her life living on a farm, where she loved all the animals and helped with farm activities such as bringing in the cows. Alice was a 1943 graduate of Pottstown High School. While still a high school senior, she was recruited to work at Jacobs Aircraft because of her strong aptitude for chemistry. Alice was a life-long member of the former First United Methodist Church of Pottstown, where she was a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School volunteer and participated in Bible Study classes. Upon the closure of First UMC she became a member of Cedarville United Methodist Church, where she participated in Bible study classes and the sewing program. For 25 years she served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was also an active volunteer with the Cluster of Pottstown. Alice was a great animal lover and owned many cats and dogs throughout her life, who brought her great joy.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, her cousins Jim Seidts and Michael Ziegler and her friend Barbara Evans. She is survived by her special cousin John Keenan (Linda) of Phoenixville and their daughter Jessica (Vlad Tarasov) of Medford, Massachusetts. She is also survived by her cousins Robert Specht of Downsville, NY, Angelique Collins of Boyertown, John Garcia of Audubon, Camilla Goodwin of Florida, John Seidts of Maryland and Scott Seidts of Burdett, NY.
