Joseph Helfrich, Jr.

Joseph Helfrich, Jr., 87, of Stowe, widower of Shirley J. (Drumheller) Helfrich, passed away on Monday March 4, 2024 at Parkhouse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Royersford.

Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph Helfrich, Sr. and the late Stephanie (Lanosz) Helfrich.

Joseph was a pipe fitter for the former Stanley G. Flagg Co., Stowe.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by a nephew Harold L. Peel, Jr. and his wife Trista, Douglassville; a brother, Robert Helfrich, FL; two sisters, Mary Ann and Kathryn; a stepbrother, Paul Peterka; and a stepsister, Anna Sacks. He was predeceased by three brothers, George, John, James Helfrich.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Thursday March 14, 2024 at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Grosstown Road, Stowe.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.
