Theresa M. (Marchione) Sell

Theresa M. (Marchione) Sell, 97, of Pottstown, widow of John Richard Sell passed away on Saturday May 4, 2024 at Manatawny Center, East Coventry Twp.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Marchione and the late Emilia (Ciancagline) Marchione. She was predeceased by a brother Anthony Marchione a Pottstown Airmen who was the last American to die in World War II.

She was a graduate of Pottstown High School.

Theresa was a mediator for the PA Unemployment Office for twenty-five years until her retirement.

She was a lifelong member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Pottstown.

Theresa volunteered at Pottstown Hospital, loved to sew, was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling. Terry loved spending time with her family and will be remembered as energetic, fashionable and full of life.

She is survived by two sons, James R. Sell and his wife Laurie, Pottstown, John R. Sell and his wife Cynthia, Pittsburgh; a sister, Geraldine Young, Fleetwood, four grandchildren, Justin Sell and his wife Alexandra Pittsburgh, Brian Sell and his wife Julie, Pittsburgh, Cole Sell and his wife Jennifer, Jacksonville, FL, Madeline Sell fiancé of James Boyle, Media. Also four great grandchildren, Theresa, Brayden, Sadie, and Hudson, and many loving nieces & nephews.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday May 13, 2024 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Hanover & Beech Streets, Pottstown. Officiating will be Father Wesly Taveras. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a visitation on Monday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the gathering center at the church.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.

The services will start at St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
