Sarah M. (Cushman) Shaffer

Sarah M. (Cushman) Shaffer, 80, of Pottstown, widow of Arthur "Art" Ray Shaffer, Jr., passed away on Sunday November 24, 2024 at Reading Hospital.

Born in Pottstown on August 11, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Cushman and the late Evelyn (Adamski) Cushman.

She attended Pottstown High School.

Sarah was a member of Cornerstone Church, Pottstown.

She is survived by two sons, Arthur S. Shaffer, III and his wife Christina, Boyertown, Stephen Shaffer and his wife Jamie, Sinking Springs, PA; two daughters, Wendy wife of Charlie Sell, Pottstown, Brenda Morgan, Newfoundland, PA; a brother, Stephen Cushman, FL: eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by four sisters, Lucille Burton, Cecilia Dice, Victoria Haas, Evelyn C. Gondal and one grandson.

There will be no services.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA.

All services for Sarah M. (Cushman) Shaffer will be kept private at the request of the family.
